Our magic, briefly.
We run a farm. The farm is in a valley. The valley is hard to find. The unicorns who live there are real in every way that matters, and the humans who sponsor them get a small, soft piece of that every single morning.
Meet the keepers
Two humans. One farm. Twenty-four hours covered.
Aurora Glen has two farm-keepers โ both arrived from the brook, neither has ever asked for a holiday, and together they hold the whole magical place upright.
Morning shift
Bulin
Bulin wandered in from the brook in 1989 with a pocketful of moonberries and a quiet affinity for being looked at by horses. They wake at 4am, brush manes, transcribe diary entries from horn-light into English using a small silver quill, and run on an alarming amount of cocoa.
Night shift
Farmer K
Farmer K arrived on a Tuesday in 1994 carrying a small lantern and a much-loved jar of moonberries. They tend the meadow after dark โ polishing horns under starlight, reading bedtime stories to the shyer foals, and answering Horn-Mail by candlelight when the rest of us are asleep.
They overlap for one golden hour at dawn and one silver hour at dusk.
During those hours the meadow is twice-as-magical, statistically. Farmer K hands Bulin a fresh cocoa. Bulin hands Farmer K the day's notes. The herd, predictably, joins in.
A short history
Six moments that built the meadow.
- ๐long agoA wish, mistakenly granted
A child wished aloud for "a place where every unicorn has a name and a friend." A passing comet wrote it down.
- ๐ฑ1947The first hoof in the valley
Aurora Glen first appeared between two slow-moving fog banks, exactly where the comet had marked its X.
- โ๏ธ1962The first sponsorship letter
A baker named Eunice received a hand-written diary entry from a unicorn named Daisy. She framed it. She still has it.
- ๐ช1989Bulin arrives
A small, magnificently freckled child wandered in from the brook. They never left. They are now the morning-shift farm-keeper.
- ๐ฎ1994Farmer K arrives, on a Tuesday
Farmer K wandered in at midnight carrying a small lantern and a much-loved jar of moonberries. They quietly took the night shift, and have held it ever since.
- ๐2014The Aurora Bridge opens
A thirty-second walking-bridge of pure aurora light is installed between the meadow kitchen and the Velvet Hollows. It hums.
- ๐ฆtodayYou showed up
And the entire herd is genuinely, slightly-sparklingly, delighted.
If you sponsor
Six promises, six tiny rituals.
Adopt-by-name. Your unicorn is yours, and you are theirs, until you say otherwise.
Transcribed from horn-light into English by Bulin, with care, and the occasional honey-stain.
Day or night โ Bulin in the mornings, Farmer K after dark. They are usually faster than the post.
Suitable for fridges, walls, and the inside of any locker that needs more sparkle.
The valley itself is unfindable, so we send the unicorns to your dreams instead. Farmer K handles the night-time delivery; Bulin the morning-after notes.
Your unicorn will be sad. They will, however, completely understand.
By the numbers
A small map
The meadows of Aurora Glen
32 named meadows, scattered across 47 acres, each with its own weather and its own opinions.
What we believe
Four small, stubborn values.
If something can be done in a more delightful way, we will choose that way, every time.
Every interaction with a unicorn (and a human) is treated with both hands.
We don't make promises we can't keep, and we don't break the magic for anyone.
Sponsorship money goes to hay, hugs, horn-polish, ribbons, brook-tax, and Bulin's perpetual cocoa.
Things people ask
Honest answers, gently glittered.
Are these unicornsโฆ real?
They are real in the way the best things are real: the diary entries are written, the names are remembered, the meadow exists in our minds and on this website. We are not in the business of pretending the magic is something it isn't.
Where does the money go?
Roughly 60% to hay and horn-polish, 25% to ribbons and braids, 10% to Bulin's cocoa, and 5% to the brook (a long-standing tax, paid in pebbles).
How is the daily diary written?
By the unicorn, of course. Bulin transcribes from horn-light into English using a small silver quill, then sends it on. Farmer K handles the entries written after dark, by lantern. We never put words into a unicorn's mouth that they didn't already think.
What about Horn-Mail?
Each unicorn dictates their replies to a tiny enchanted bellflower. Bulin tends the bellflowers in the morning, Farmer K in the evening, and one of them will always be awake. The bellflower itself is doing its very best.
Can I really not visit?
The valley is between fog banks, and the fog banks have been quite firm about it. The Dream Visit is the next best thing โ and according to several of our regulars, somehow even better.
Why Stripe?
Because it is the magical creature of the payments world. Card statements will show "unicornsponsored" โ that's us.

There's a unicorn somewhere on this farm thinking about you.
It's only fair you find out which one.
